The 16th Annual Rideshare Diamond Awards were presented May 29 at the Fred Harvey Room at Union Station in Los Angeles. Diamond Awards recognize people and companies who are a positive force in the community, dedicated to protecting both the environment and quality of life in Orange County.
Helping people manage their commutes and use alternative transportation such as buses, trains, vanpools, carpools, and bicycles results in reduced congestion, improved air quality, and can contribute to a healthier and happier lifestyle. OCTA congratulates these Orange County Rideshare Diamond Award winners:

- Corie Arroyo, Microvention - Outstanding Overall Rideshare Program
- Bill Petersen, Department of Homeland Security – Most Improved Average Vehicle Ridership (AVR)
- Jane Larson, Irvine Ranch Water District - Outstanding Overall Rideshare Program
- Oakley - Innovators Award
- Brandon Alvarado, College Student and Volunteer - Ambassador Award
