On June 20, Westview Services, Inc. kicked off the opening ceremonies for its 11th annual Sports Fest, a mini ‘Special Olympics’ for Westview clients throughout the southern California area. With a full week of scheduled activities, participants came from as far as Temecula and San Bernardino to compete in a variety of events, including baseball, basketball, soccer and track and field. For 30 years, Westview has provided a full range of programs designed at enriching the daily lives of individuals with disabilities.
OCTA continues to be a proud supporter of the event, providing transportation via ACCESS buses for more than 225 athletes from various Orange County locations to the event in Garden Grove Park. ACCESS is OCTA's shared-ride service for people who are unable to use the regular, fixed-route bus service because of functional limitations caused by a disability.
