OCTA Encourages the Public to Take Metrolink to the Orange International Street Fair on Labor Day Weekend

The Orange International Street Fair is one of the county’s most popular annual events, with nearly 400,000 people expected to visit Old Town Orange between Aug. 30 and Sept. 1.

The weekend event features a variety of ethnic foods, arts and craft sales, live music performances and more.

On Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1, the fair is open from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.  Riders can take Metrolink to the festivities from as far away as L.A. Union Station, Oceanside or San Bernardino with the $10 Metrolink Weekend Day Pass. This pass is valid for system-wide travel on either Saturday or Sunday, and can be purchased at the ticket vending machines located at the stations.

Please note that, while there will be regular service on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the fair, there will be no Metrolink service in Orange County on Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day. Regular Metrolink service will resume on Tuesday, September 3.
