Just in time for summer, OCTA is offering those who live in parts of Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo or Mission Viejo an incentive to take public transportation to summer fun, movies, appointments, meals with friends and more.
Through the end of August, group rides on OC Flex, OCTA’s on-demand shared-ride service, are half price when up to four tickets are purchased together through the OC Flex App. Groups can take unlimited rides all day throughout the zone at a special promotional price of $4.50 for two, $6.75 for three and $9 for four riders.
There’s also an incentive for OC Flex fans who ride solo. Those who refer a friend through the OC Flex app get a free ride, and so does the friend—and this offer can be used repeatedly.
OC Flex furthers OCTA's goals of reducing air pollution and implementing critical first‑mile, last‑mile strategies. Commuter rail pass holders and OC Bus riders use the service as a free first‑mile, last‑mile connection, making OC Flex a critical link in green commuting alternatives that help take cars off the road reducing vehicle miles traveled and improving air quality.
