Now playing in Costa Mesa, the OC Fair is simply one of the best summer events around. It’s got abundant baby pigs, 68 rides, crafts galore, fabulous food, and toe-tapping music of all sorts.
Driving there can be tedious and expensive, which is why the OC Fair Express is so popular. This seasonal bus service runs Saturdays and Sundays through Aug. 11 and connects directly to the fair from nine convenient locations, including Anaheim (ARTIC), Anaheim Canyon, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo, Orange, and Santa Ana.
But what if you don’t live near any of these locations? What if you’re coming from farther away – like another county?
No problem. If you travel by Metrolink or Amtrak Pacific Surfliner to the Anaheim Canyon, Anaheim ARTIC, Santa Ana, Irvine or Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo Metrolink stations, you can transfer free to the OC Fair Express with your valid train ticket. Buses run to and from these stations every 30 to 40 minutes from approximately 10:30 a.m. to midnight. Please remember to coordinate your return trip so you can catch the appropriate train.
On board the bus, you'll get a coupon for $4 OC Fair admission, saving $10 – a great value.
