OCTA made several changes to its bus-related services in response to the coronavirus.
OC Buses are temporarily operating on a Sunday Service Schedule on all days until further notice. OC Bus service will continue to be available for those who must go out. Visit OCbus.com to view schedules.
This emergency change was necessary to allow coach operators to remain safely at home if they are over 65 years old, have underlying health issues or are on leave to care for children. In addition, many riders are following Gov. Newsom’s order to stay home, and OCTA’s ridership has dropped significantly.
Please note that there are no changes to OC ACCESS paratransit service and it will continue to be available as usual for eligible passengers who require it.
OCTA will continue to prioritize the safety of OC Bus riders by enhancing the cleaning of all OC Buses in operation, applying anti-viral disinfectant to every bus daily, and by taking extra time to clean surfaces that are touched most frequently.
In addition, OCTA has temporarily suspend service in the OC Flex Huntington Beach/Westminster zone. Service in the Aliso Viejo/Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo zone will continue to operate until further notice. Visit OCFlex.com for more information.
Also, iShuttle service in Irvine and Tustin has been temporarily suspended. This includes iShuttle routes 400, 401, 402, 403, 404, and 405. Visit here for more iShuttle information.
OCTA appreciates the patience and understanding of all those affected by these changes.
