OC Bus Continues to Offer Reliable Public Transit Options in Anaheim

Following the conclusion of Anaheim Transportation Network (ATN) services on March 31, OCTA continues providing frequent and reliable public transit service to make traveling easy for residents, visitors and area employees.

“OCTA understands how important dependable transit service is for thousands of workers, residents and visitors in the Anaheim Resort area,” said OCTA Chair Jamey M. Federico. “OC Bus has always been a safe, reliable and affordable option in Anaheim and the surrounding communities and we welcome everyone on board.”

OCTA already serves much of the Anaheim Resort area. Approximately 75% of ATN’s routes are currently served by OCTA, and the remaining routes are located within walking distance of existing OC Bus stops.

Anaheim is a major hub in OCTA’s system, with nearly half of all OCTA bus routes traveling through the city, and Anaheim has the second-highest transit ridership in Orange County – only behind Santa Ana.

Reliable and affordable transit access remains especially critical for the region’s large workforce, underscoring the importance of connections that employees can count on to safely transport them between housing and major employment centers.

OCTA has coordinated closely with ATN and the city of Anaheim for many years on transportation services in the resort area and will continue working collaboratively to ensure transit remains a viable option for the millions of people who live in, work in, and visit the Anaheim Resort area.
