OCTA is holding a series of open houses to share information about the I-405 Improvement Project, which will improve 16 miles of I-405 and add one regular lane in each direction from Euclid Street to I-605. It will also construct the 405 Express Lanes from SR-73 to I-605.
More than 100 people attended the first open house on May 10 in Westminster. In addition to a project overview, more than a dozen project experts were available to answer questions.
OCTA is developing many tools that will keep residents informed and on the move during construction, including an interactive map and a Waze app. Both were on display at the meeting.
The next meeting will be held Thursday, May 24, in Long Beach. To learn more about the I-405 Improvement Project and the upcoming open house schedule, click here.
