OCTA recently awarded the first of four, free weekend-getaway promotions that introduce people to Metrolink.

With help from partners, OCTA put together getaway packages for destinations in San Juan Capistrano, Anaheim, Pasadena and San Clemente. Each getaway includes Metrolink tickets, overnight accommodations and gift certificates to popular restaurants and attractions.
So far, the promotion has proved to be successful in reaching new riders. Among the 1,230 participants who entered to win the first getaway to San Juan Capistrano, 63 percent said they had not used Metrolink in the last six months.
The Anaheim/Disneyland Weekend Getaway is currently under way, and the public is encouraged to enter before Aug. 2 for a chance to win a prize package that includes:
- Overnight accommodations at Tropicana Inn & Suites
- Disneyland Park Hopper Tickets
- Breakfast at IHOP Restaurant
- Dinner at Tony Roma’s
- Metrolink tickets
- Anaheim Resort Transportation Tickets
