OCTA has an ongoing partnership with various businesses in Downtown Fullerton, a historic part of Orange County with unique shops, specialty restaurants, live entertainment and a museum.
Destinations offering a discount to OCTA customers include The Slidebar Rock-N-Roll Kitchen, Steamer’s Jazz Club and Café, The Old Spaghetti Factory, and others. Patrons who show their valid OCTA bus pass, Metrolink ticket or 91 Express Lanes Transponder receive discounts ranging from a free dessert to 20 percent off. OCTA has partnered with these local businesses to promote public transportation.
The area’s shops, restaurants and entertainment venues are a short walk from the Fullerton Transportation Center, which is served by both the bus and train.
Make plans to ride the bus or train to Fullerton soon and take advantage of the great discounts offered by participating businesses. The city also holds many family-friendly events such as a weekly farmer’s market, art walks, holiday celebrations, and more.
A weekend trip on Metrolink costs only $10 with the Weekend Day Pass. This pass is valid for system-wide travel on either Saturday or Sunday, and can be purchased at the ticket vending machines located at the stations.
