One of Orange County’s favorite events, the OC Fair, is back in Costa Mesa through August 13. The fair attracts thousands from around the county, and the increased car traffic negatively impacts local roads and air quality.
That’s why OCTA is encouraging fair attendees to take OC Bus, a clean, comfortable, and reliable transportation alternative. Some OC Bus routes run to destinations near the entrances to the OC Fair. The bus fares are low cost – and in some cases free – and help fair-goers avoid parking hassles and extra costs. Orange County youth ages 6 to 18 can use their Youth Ride Free passes.
Although the OC Fair Express is not available this year, regular OC Bus routes that run to the OC Fair include 47, 55, 71, and 178.
The theme of this year’s fair is Happy Together, and that applies to transportation options, too. OC Bus and OC Fair, together, are a happy choice for fair-goers.
