Swallows Day Parade and Mercado: The city of San Juan Capistrano celebrates the legendary return of the swallows to the Mission with a parade and street fair every year. The train station is located in the heart of the downtown area, so it’s easy to get to the festivities on Metrolink. The event features the largest non-motorized parades in the nation, contests, crafts and more. Bubblefest: The Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana will bring back it’s popular bubble spectacular starting March 29, featuring a hands-on bubble zone, a bubble laser show, education about the science of bubbles and more. World War II Exhibit: Ride Metrolink to Fullerton and walk to the nearby Fullerton Museum for their Memories of World War II photograph exhibit. Dodgers vs. Angels: Special Metrolink train service will be offered for fans going to the Dodgers vs. Angels game in Los Angeles on March 27 and 28. Round-trip ticket prices for the train will cost $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and the disabled, $4 for children ages 18 and younger, and free for children 5 and younger (with a paid adult). Upon arriving at L.A. Union Station, a shuttle will take fans to the stadium for free. Learn more.
