Get to These Upcoming Events on the Bus

Here are some fun events and destinations that are sure to inspire travel ideas:

Swallows Day Festivities
San Juan Capistrano celebrates the legendary return of the swallows to the Mission with a parade and street fair every year. Routes 91 and 191 serve the area, so it’s easy to get to the festivities on the bus. The event features the largest non-motorized parade in the nation, contests, crafts and more. If you are in the Tustin area, ride Route 70 or 90 our free kick-off event first for food, music and prizes. Learn more.

Dinner and a Show
Ride Route 29 to Beach Boulevard in Buena Park for a fun night out! Medieval Times Dinner Adventure and Pirates Dinner Adventure both offer discounts to OCTA customers. Each offers a unique show paired with a nice dinner. Whether you want to watch knights joust or pirates battle on a ship, take the bus there to do so at a discount!

Bubblefest
The Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana will bring back its popular bubble spectacular starting March 29, featuring a hands-on bubble zone, a bubble laser show, education about the science of bubbles and more. Routes 53 and 83 can take you to the museum. You will even get discounted admission with your OCTA bus pass. Learn more.

Earth Day Festival
The Bolsa Chica Conservancy's Earth Day Festival will take place on Saturday, Apr. 12 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The free event will feature educational activity booths, a jump tent, food, guided tours and more. There will even be an opportunity to touch a live snake and look for migrating birds! Routes 1, 70 and 72 can get you there. Learn more.
