Fun Places to Go by Bus

These fun events and destinations are sure to inspire a day trip with OCTA!

Go Whale Watching
Now is a great time to go on a whale watching excursion. The best part is, you can get discounts with Dana Wharf (Routes 1, 85, 90 or 91) and Davey's Locker (Route 71) when you show your valid OCTA bus pass! While you're there, you can also enjoy sandy beaches, restaurants, shops and more.

Go to the Zoo
The Santa Ana Zoo has more than 350 animals spread across a 20-acre property. See monkeys, birds, reptiles and much more. There is also a farm, small rides for kids and rainforest maze to enjoy. Ride Routes 59 or 64 and get discounted admission with your OCTA bus pass.

Special Exhibits at the Science Center
The Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana has a special Spooky Science exhibit that will last through Nov. 2, and a popular Thomas & Friends train exhibit that will stay through Jan. 4. Haunted Walking Tours
Ride Routes 26, 43, 47, 143, 213 or 543 to downtown Fullerton for a special haunted walking tour on Nov. 5 or 6. You'll learn about Fullerton's colorful history and visit some of the city's popular landmarks. Space is limited and reservations are required. Learn more.

Dinner and a Show
Ride Route 29 to Beach Boulevard in Buena Park for a fun night out! Medieval Times Dinner Adventure and Pirates Dinner Adventure both offer discounts to OCTA customers. Each offers a unique show paired with a nice dinner. Whether you want to watch knights joust or pirates battle on a ship, take the bus there to do so at a discount!
