Looking for an event the whole family can enjoy? Check out LA Chinatown’s Golden Dragon Parade on Feb. 17. With elaborate decorations and performances by some of the nation’s best Chinese acts, the parade begins at Hill Street at 1 p.m. and ends at Broadway at 3 p.m. And by taking the train, you’ll avoid traffic and parking hassles so you can relax and enjoy some family time.
Your journey begins at the Irvine Metrolink station, where OCTA starts the party at 8 a.m. with a traditional Chinese lion dance, refreshments and prizes. Be one of the first 100 people, and ride the train for free! The train to LA boards at Irvine at 9:08 a.m.
