Free Shuttles Connect to Summer Fun

Summer in Orange County is packed with amazing events at awesome places. It’s also full of people, cars, and crowded parking lots.

Free summer shuttles in Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, and Dana Point make it easy to enjoy the fun without the hassle.

Partially funded by OC Go (also known as Measure M), many of these shuttles connect to each other, to transit, and to Metrolink stations, making it easier to travel to great destinations without a car.

The popular San Clemente Trolley now has two lines and does a brisk business transporting happy travelers to great destinations like the San Clemente Pier, Outlets at San Clemente, Metrolink stations, and venues around town.

Along with stops at local attractions through the city's downtown and Mission San Juan Capistrano, the San Juan Capistrano Trolley connects to the Dana Point Trolley Service.

On the Dana Point Trolley, riders can cruise the coast and visit attractions, entertainment, shopping, dining, beaches, and parks without a car.  It also connects with the Laguna Beach and San Juan Capistrano trolleys.

The Laguna Beach Summer Breeze, also known as OC Bus Route 689, offers a free ride from the Laguna Canyon Road parking lot in Irvine to the beach. This summer weekend service takes riders to destinations such the Sawdust Art Festival, Laguna Art-A-Fair, Pageant of the Masters, and Laguna Beach Bus Station.

In addition to providing a free ride around the Balboa Peninsula, the Balboa Peninsula Trolley in Newport also offers free parking when you board at the Avon Street lot. Just download the ParkMobile app.

These are just a few of free transportation options to help you enjoy a beautiful OC summer.
