On April 22, OC Bus and Metrolink will offer free rides all day systemwide in honor of Earth Day.
By taking public transit, riders help the environment. Choosing to ride the bus or train helps take cars off the road and reduces harmful emissions.
Both OC Bus and Metrolink are doing their part to move toward a sustainable future. The OC Bus fleet runs on clean, renewable energy now and OCTA is committed to a zero emission future to bring even cleaner air quality to Orange County. Last year, Metrolink became the first commuter rail in the country to run all of its trains on 100% renewable fuel products.
Special tickets are not required to ride OC Bus or Metrolink on Earth Day; riders can simply climb aboard.
