A day-long festival packed with fun, food and sea-related activities, on October 1 Seafest will continue its tradition of delighting families from throughout southern California.
Located in the beautiful seaside city of San Clemente, Seafest is best reached by a convenient Metrolink train. The San Clemente Pier Metrolink Station is right next to the event. Metrolink surfs past traffic and eliminates the hassle of finding and paying for parking. For only $10, riders can travel to and from San Clemente using the Metrolink Weekend Day Pass. Each paying adult can bring up to three kids aged 5 and under for free.
The San Clemente Chamber of Commerce sponsors Seafest to bring locals, businesses and visitors together for a full day of eating and surfing. Events include a surfing contest, art and craft exhibit, U.S. Coast Guard Search & Rescue demonstration and chowder cook-off.
The best place to view the surfing contest and rescue demonstration is from the pier, just a short walk from the Metrolink Station.
