Each year, OCTA offers the youth of Orange County a golden opportunity for vacation fun, and this year is no exception.
Presented as the cure for zombie-like boredom, this year’s Youth Summer Pass provides riders 18 and younger with unlimited bus rides for 30 consecutive days between June 1 and September 30, 2015. Youth Summer Passes are now on sale through August 31, 2015 for $20.
Visitors come from all over the world to enjoy the beauty and attractions of Orange County. Summer Bus Pass holders can have the same experiences – for only 67 cents a day. Pass holders also enjoy discounts at more than 20 entertainment destinations throughout the county, including Boomers, Medieval Times and the Discovery Science Center.
To encourage visits to these and other great destinations, the #EndTheZombie contest will award a $500 scholarship to the person who successfully completes the zombie story, an ongoing narrative that will be delivered incrementally throughout the summer via social media.
Last year more than 3,000 youth took advantage of the Youth Summer Pass, taking more than 200,000 trips from June through August.
