On April 7, Victor Valley Transit Authority in Hesperia hosted the Southern California Regional Roadeo.
This event is held every year to give local teams a competitive practice before the national competition at the American Public Transportation Association’s Bus and Paratransit Conference. This year, the conference will be in Tampa, Florida at the beginning of May.
Congratulations to OCTA’s maintenance team of Raymond Consiglio, Patrick Courchaine and Chris Jordan who placed 2nd out of 8 teams and coach operator Darvy Traylor who placed 4th out of 14 contestants.
