The Angels are having an excellent season and so is the Angels Express. The season isn’t over and the Angels Express has already scored record ridership levels. On Friday, Aug. 29, this special Metrolink train had nearly 2,800 boardings – the most in its four-year history, and 39 percent more than the previous record-setting day. Overall, boardings for 2014 are up 22 percent compared to last year.
With summer winding down, there are only six more opportunities left in the regularly scheduled season to experience the Angels Express and ride it directly to Angel Stadium in the company of others who enjoy an evening baseball game. By traveling by Metrolink, fans can avoid traffic delays and save on parking.
The Angels Express provides round-trip service to all Angels weekday home games in Anaheim beginning at 7:05 p.m. from as far away as Los Angeles or Oceanside. Angels Express service is also offered from Riverside for every Friday night game. Learn more.
