One of southern California’s favorite family-friendly gatherings, the San Clemente Ocean Festival will return on July 18 and 19 with water-sports competitions, great food, a sand sculpting contest and much more.
Now in its 39th year, this popular free festival is expected to attract more than 60,000 attendees.
Traffic and parking will be difficult. Why not take a Metrolink train instead? The Metrolink station is conveniently located right next to the festival.
To encourage ridership, OCTA is offering two ways to get free Metrolink tickets. Join OCTA on July 18 at a pre-festival event at the Fullerton Transportation Center featuring free Metrolink tickets for the first 50 people, great food and music. The festivities begin at 8:30 a.m. and continue until everyone hops on the 9:23 a.m. train to San Clemente Pier.
Free tickets are also available online to the first 50 people who take a short survey.
For everyone else, there’s the cost-effective $10 Metrolink Weekend Day Pass. It’s good everywhere Metrolink travels all day either Saturday or Sunday. Learn more.
