As part of OCTA’s regular June service change, minor schedule adjustments and route alignments will be implemented on June 8 to provide additional customer service, relieve bus overloads, and provide greater connectivity.
Schedule adjustments are being made to the following routes: 1, 29, 35, 38, 42, 43, 47, 50, 51, 54,57, 59, 64, 66, 72, 86, 173, 191, 211, 213, 543, and 794.
To enhance connectivity to Metrolink trains, the following are also being adjusted: Routes 21, 24, 25, 410, 411, 430, 453, 454, 462, 463, 464, 472, 473, 480, and 490.
As a result of customer feedback indicating preference for later weekday service, Route 543 service will be adjusted to operate every 12 minutes during peak hours and every 18 minutes during non-peak hours. The additional resources gained as a result of the frequency adjustment will provide extended southbound evening service from the Fullerton Transportation Center. Three additional trips will be added to assist Orange County travelers with their evening commute.
