All Aboard Metrolink for Fullerton’s Railroad Days

Train fans mark their calendars each year for the Southern California Railway Plaza Association’s Railroad Days in Fullerton, a free community event honoring the region’s historic connections to railroads. This year, the event will take place May 6 and 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be exhibits, train tours, food and much more, which makes for a fantastic weekend for rail fans and families of all ages. One of the oldest surviving steam trains, Santa Fe 4-8-4 No. 3751, will be on display. For more information about the event, click here.

The event is taking place at the Fullerton Metrolink Station, and the best way for train fans to get there is by train. On Saturdays and Sundays, a Metrolink Weekend Pass is only $10 each day for systemwide travel. To purchase, download the Metrolink mobile ticketing app here or pick up a pass at the station ticket vending machine. Kids age 5 and under ride free with paying adult, limit 3 per fare. Station and schedule information is available here.
