E-bikes are booming in popularity across Orange County – and with more people riding, safety is more important than ever. That’s why OCTA has launched the E-Bike Safety Strategies Action Plan, now available for the public and our partners to explore.
This plan, developed over the past year, takes a closer look at how OCTA can make e-bike use safer for everyone. It includes recommendations to improve education, strengthen local policies, and expand resources to support safe and responsible riding.
But this is just the beginning. OCTA is teaming up with cities, community groups, schools, and safety advocates to put these strategies into action. Dedicated stakeholder groups and a steering committee will help guide countywide efforts, tackle key issues, and keep the momentum going.
