Last week, OCTA dropped by the Goldenwest Transportation Center in Huntington Beach to celebrate the addition of more than 200 new parking spaces. The early visit allowed Director Jim Katapodis, also mayor pro tem of Huntington Beach, to interact with bus riders before they began their morning commute.
The addition more than doubled the number of free spaces available at the center, bringing the total to 330. Buses serving this location connect to Metrolink stations and many popular Orange and Los Angeles county employment and entertainment centers.
