Coyote Creek Bike Day Will Showcase the OC Loop

On March 29, OCTA will host Coyote Creek Bike Day (PDF) to help Orange County residents become more familiar with alternative transportation options that combine fun and mobility.

People of all ages are invited to bike, walk, skate and scooter along the Coyote Creek Bikeway from Imperial Highway La Mirada Boulevard in La Mirada from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Behringer Athletic Facility will be the event hub. Family activities, light snacks and information booths will be available.

Coyote Creek is part of the Orange County (OC) Loop, a vision for 66 miles of seamless connections and opportunities for people to bike, walk and connect to some of California’s most scenic beaches and inland reaches. About 70 percent of the OC Loop is already in place and is used by thousands of people. Currently, nearly 46 miles use existing off-street trails along the San Gabriel River, Coyote Creek, Santa Ana River and the Coastal/Beach Trail.
