Here Comes the OC Fair Express, the Non-Stop Bus to the Non-Stop Party

One of Orange County’s most popular destinations, the OC Fair will return to Costa Mesa this summer with delicious food, great music, and packed parking lots. Those in the know can avoid traffic and parking hassles by jumping aboard the OC Fair Express, the special bus service that provides direct service to the fair Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from July 17 through August 16.

The OC Fair Express is a tremendous bargain. Rides to and from the fair are only $2 each way or a swipe of a valid bus pass. In addition, riders receive a coupon that substantially reduces the fair admission price by at least $9.

Nine locations are available to serve Orange County. Metrolink riders can connect with the OC Fair Express at the Anaheim Canyon, Santa Ana, Irvine, or Anaheim-ARTIC stations.  The bus is free with a valid Metrolink ticket. Other stops are located in Orange, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Laguna Hills, and San Juan Capistrano. Last year, nearly 40,000 fairgoers took advantage of this convenient transportation service.

Back for the second year, the OC Fair Express Mobile App makes passes, schedules, and maps available from smartphones. It’s free and available for download beginning July 1.
