Fullerton Rotarians Stay Current on Transportation Improvements

The Capital Projects Outreach Team recently made its third presentation to the Fullerton Sunrise Rotary. At its most recent information session, the team provided an overview of the recently completed 57 Northbound Project, which adds capacity and improves operations from Placentia to Brea, including improved connectivity with Old Town Placentia, California State University at Fullerton, Brea Plaza, Brea Mall and Downtown Brea, as well as points north.

Rotarians were also briefed on the ongoing State 57 Freeway south segment, which promises to improve access and connectivity to major destinations such as the Honda Center, Anaheim Stadium, the Grove and ARTIC.

Approximately 25 Rotarians attended and asked questions related to the OC Bridges Project, the 91 Project and area street projects.

Since the 57 Project began, community outreach to this early-morning group has included a kick-off presentation, a status update and wrap up report.
