Fans Rally on the Angels Express in Record Numbers

Summer is in full swing in Orange County, where baseball fans are increasingly choosing a popular public transportation option to get to Angel Stadium. At the close of the home game on June 26, ridership on the Angels Express had increased by 27 percent compared to the year before.

At only $7 roundtrip, the Angels Express is a fun, affordable way to get to the ballpark while avoiding traffic and parking fees. The special Metrolink train drops riders off only a few steps from Angel Stadium at the new ARTIC station. Service is available to all weeknight home games starting at 7:05 p.m. on the Orange County (OC) Line. On Friday nights only, fans from the Inland Empire can catch a ride on the Inland Empire-Orange County (IEOC) Line.

And during July and August, a good thing will get even better when kids 18 and under ride the Angels Express for free.
